During the Memorial Day Weekend, Georgetown Divide Equestrian Trails Foundation will be hosting their Annual Dru Barner Fun(d) Ride. The 5-mile, 12 & 20-mile loops enable newcomers to familiarize themselves with the extensive Rock Creek Trail system east of Georgetown. These trails are ideal options during the heat of the summer. El Dorado Equestrian Trails Foundation, now called Georgetown Divide Equestrian Trails Foundation, was founded in 1987. We can thank many of the original members along with the Dru Barner Foundation and the U.S. Forest Service for developing the Dru Barner Equestrian Campground. Learn more about this club at gdetf.com; learn more about the Rock Creek Trails by participating in the Fun(d) Ride. Contact Terri Jamison, Ride Secretary, at 680-7709 or firstname.lastname@example.org. A BBQ dinner and raffle will be provided following the Ride. Act now, space is limited.
