El Dorado Equestrian Trails Foundation Dedicated to Trails

“The El Dorado Equestrian Trails Foundation was founded in 1987 to encourage identification and dedication of equestrian trails on the Georgetown Divide. Since its inception, the Foundation, in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service, has been instrumental in the development of many miles of trails, the construction of staging areas, and the creation of the Dru Barner (Equestrian) Campground”, which offers 48 campsites. Those of us who walk, run, or ride our trails, can thank EDETF (and others) for making this work their vocation.
