Going "backwards" over No Hands Bridge

If you’re seeking an experience less arduous, check out the assortment of hikes this month.  Sierra Club, Sacramento Trail Mix, Tahoe Rim Trail, Foothill Hikers and others offer wonderful options.  Some of the nearby hikes are listed below.  As the summer heats up, water sports become more inviting.  REI is offering kayaking instruction at Lake Clementine and the Red Cross is offering canoeing instruction.  The 39th Annual Eppie’s Great Race offers a fun challenge you can participate in solo or with friends, combining water sports, cycling and running.  Dru Barner Equestrian Campground, above Georgetown, is hosting both an endurance horseback ride and a competitive trail ride.  And another clean-up day is scheduled for the South Fork of the American River.  Looking for relaxation?  Check out KFOK radio station’s benefit Concert in Georgetown.  Finally, this year’s Tevis Cup 100 Mile in One Day Ride takes place on August 4th and 5th.  World class athletes will be visiting from around the world.  Best of luck to all participants!
